No seeing through this one. Minimal white foam covers; fleeting. Lacing as expected.
Nose of passion fruit, mango and pineapple. Hop forward to say the least. Hints of alcohol are late in the aroma.
Taste is hop forward as well: pineapple and mango. Lots of hop resin late, seemingly adding to the bitterness. Bitterness begins to linger. Not sweet. Grass hops are strong in the finish.
Body is thick. Light end of carbonation, the body doesn't need much thickening up. Juicy at the front of mouth yet dry in the back of the throat.
This drinks like a hopped up barley wine. More resinous in the flavor than hop forward. Built to let the hops shine. Not enough balance for me. Enjoy!

Our friends south of the equator really have this hop growing thing figured out and we are ecstatic they do. Without them we couldn't bring you Unicorn Galaxy. We built a platform of malted barley and wheat then atop that we constructed our ode to Galaxy hops. The hop character really shines through with aromas and flavors of tropical fruit, tangerine, citrus, passion fruit and fresh cut grass. Drink early, drink often.
