  • Pour yields an inch of tan foam that looks creamy. Foam recedes rather quickly, leaving behind sporadic but sticky lacing.

Aroma of toasted bread, roast and chocolate. Roast is the strongest.

Taste is more one dimensional that the nose. The roast is big. Not much else going on. The roast and bitterness remain.

Light body with good carbonation for the style, adding a bit body.

Body is a bit light for the style. Was expecting some creaminess based on the initial foam. The aroma and look are the high points of the beer. A good beer, not great. I would have it again but wouldn't go out of my way to do so. Enjoy!

Beer Notes
  • An award-winning English-style porter brewed using a blend of caramel and chocolate malts to provide a rich, dark brew with roasty chocolate and coffee character. It's heavy on flavor but not in body, just like a great porter should be.
