Poured into my mason mug with a lot of floaties and cloudiness. Nice fluffy, off-white foam. Good retention and some medium lacing.
Aroma has big malt backbone. Some sweetness from brown sugar aromas. Some hops, seems to be a combination of scents: floral, pine, and citrus.
Big malt up front with some hops and sweetness in the middle, ending with a blend of hops and malt. Some hop bitterness in the aftertaste.
Medium carbonation and body combine for a stunningly good brew.
Darker than expected but a crisp drinker. Some of the Scottish characteristics that have been "bastardized" come through. Not something I would always grab but a beer that I could enjoy whenever I wanted to. Enjoy!
