From a can purchased at Iron & Glass ten days ago.
A vigorous pour brings on an inch of white foam. Good retention. Not much lacing or foam left behind.
Aroma is a battle between the lime and orange. Lactose and lemon bring on depth building. Herbal/grass late.
Taste is a bit bland up front but really finishes strong. Orange is the front runner with the finish culminating with sweetness from the lactose. Lemon and lime from the aroma don’t really show. The end brings on a sense of creaminess and fashions the mind to a milk shake.
Medium body with less carbonation. Very dry on the palate; not juicy.
One of the few milkshake IPAs that I feel actually made me sense and think milkshake. Nicely done. I am not a fan of the lime that Motueka brings but the orange and lactose hide well. A solid beer. Enjoy!

"Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, 'It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than selfish and worry about my liver.'" - Jack Handy
