Purchased at Flight Bottle Shoppe on 2020-10-10. Date on can of 09/22/20.
Pours cloudy with a solid inch of slightly off-white foam to cover. Great retention with the foam creaming the top as it recedes. Lacing is light, sticky and wispy.
Aroma of pine, pineapple, papaya resin, mango, orange, and tangerine to name a few. Light sweetness.
Taste up front and into the middle is huge helping of mango, papaya, orange, and tangerine; a cornucopia of fruit. The middle brings hints of barley/oats that is quickly gone for the waves of hops. Light bitter finish begins to build after each sip, a combination of pine, pineapple, and grapefruit.
Light to medium body with a strong carbonation. Juicy up front but drying quickly. Some lingering resin and orange. There is a hop "zing (burn)" left on the lower lip.
I bought this beer due to the artwork on the can as I am starting to chase beer based on the artwork: new niche. This beer delivers with a great aromatics and flavor from the hops. The only issue I had was with the mouthfeel from the carbonation: it was too much. I would definitely have this beer again. Enjoy!
