    Day 13 of 24 beers of Christmas 2021.

    Pours opaque with a finger of tan foam. Loosely packed foam recedes quicker than typical, assuming the vanilla. No lacing.

    Aroma of vanilla with some chocolate. Mildly sweet. Not robust.

    Taste is vanilla forward. Hints of chocolate with light caramel and toffee sweetness. The vanilla really is the leader.

    Light body, especially for a porter. Medium carbonation.

    I would have like to see more body along with more aroma/flavor that are typical of the style. The vanilla seems to be the leading profile but I prefer that the porter lead the way with vanilla being an adjunct. I don't think I would have this beer again. Enjoy!
