Purchased from Tavour. Date on bottle of 03/26. Surprisingly crowned and corked.
Out of the bottle looks great in my Bells Rubio glass. Big off-white foam. Okay retention. Juicy lacing that’s flows back to liquid level. Deep gold in color.
Aroma is delicate yet complex somewhat typical barnyard. Lemon, hay, sweet, lightly acidic, with subtle earthiness. Not over the top but attractively inviting.
Taste is is fun. Hints of peach and lemon are forefront. The peach hints at sweetness while the acidic middle into the finish, lingering, takes the notion of sweetness locking it into the closet. Hay and earth add developing layer. Apricot subtleties may be self induced. Lemon hangs on the dry sides of the cheeks while the acidity becomes fast friends with the sides of the tongue and the back of the mouth.
The first sip is extremely light bodied but the effervescence and acidity catch up quickly to give a nice body to the beer. Very dry.
I have been fortunate enough to partake in several high quality sours over the past couple of weeks the Daily continues that trend. Sours and nd summer fit perfectly; an abv of 5.5% rubber stamps the duo. I would have this beer again. Enjoy!
