Point Of No Return

Yellow with low level haze. Super faint aroma, maybe lemon. Taste; hard to make out any flavors. Low carbonation. Nothing wrong, just hard to make out any flavors. More like a pale ale than a IPA. Soft fruit flavors; maybe stone fruit, the sweetness and bitterness levels are to style. No personality, no dates on packaging…maybe an old beer. The weird thing is that I bought the can at a craft beer taproom, in SW Michigan. They were having a Bottle Logic tap take-over. I would assume the brewery was going to be distributed in Michigan, so it makes no sense to have shipped in, what could be non-fresh product. But not sure what the deal is, esp. consider this brewery get huge props for their BA Imp. Stouts.

Shared by Rich at TNBC. No date on can. Pours partially opaque which potentially tells me age. Not much lacing based on shared pour. Aroma is oddly lemon forward. Once again age? Taste is nondescript. Sweet lemon, maybe. Light body with almost no carbonation. Dry. This is definitely an aged beer. Nothing technically wrong but with all those hops I was excited to be blown away. Alas, I was not. Cool can art. I don’t think I want to try this again. Enjoy!
