  • Poured clear with huge tan, frothy foam. Good retentions. Spotty, splotchy lacing.

Aroma hits me with alcohol. After the initial blast, there is roasted, toasted, and molasses providing sweet. Dark fruits too.

Taste is very sweet up front. Dark fruit in the middle and finish with roasted malt. Not much hops noted. The after taste is fantastic: dark fruit, chocolate, and even a wee bit of alcohol.

Good amount of carbonation with big, chewy body.

The high alcohol is almost completely masked and thankfully it does peak its head otherwise you might try to session this beer and fall out of your seat. It is that good and that balanced. Enjoy!
