Louie's Reserve Scotch Ale

Poured clear with a single finger of slightly off-white foam. Retention was minimal with some blotchy lacing. Aroma of caramel, sweet, and molasses overwhelm the nose with some roasted notes. Doughy or bready scents are present with a slight nuttiness. Taste of rich, sweet caramel and molasses malt. Dark fruits, alcohol, and bread flavors reach through also. Medium or better body with the same amount of carbonation. A really good example. I liked this beer and if it wasn't for Rich rushing me I could have let the beer last it a little more thoroughly.
