Poured slightly cloudy with some floaties, that seems to be yeast. A solid inch of frothy, tan foam, average amount of retention, and a fair amount of lacing.
Aroma is big on toffee, caramel, and bread malt. Slight fruity, clean grass, and spicey scents are there also.
Taste is sweet malt with bread and toffee flavors joining in along the way. A hit of spice and grass hops are in the finish.
Medium body and ample carbonation (almost prickly) while drying on the palate.
Round Barn did a nice job on this one. I continue to be intrigued by this winery turned brewer. Will continue to watch a taste. This one is a good drinker. Enjoy!
