Stoudt's Pils

Quicky: Lemon grass yeast and wheat aroma. First taste is clean and dry with slight hop bite. Fresh and enjoyable, an easy drinker.

Pours clear as day with a nice, white, inch of foam. Retention is good while the foam becomes frothy. Sticky foam clings to the glass. Aroma is lemon and grass hops with a bit of yeast. A nice clean scent. Taste as expected in terms of a pilsner up front but then it transitions to an overload of hops. Lemony and grassy hops with a bit of a bite. There is clean bitterness. Light body with a fair amount of complimentary carbonation. A really clean beer that is so easy to drink. The hop profile adds a nice little spin that is appreciated. Enjoy!
