  • Poured hazy yet fairly clear. Foam was snow white. Retention was fleeting while lacing was almost absent.

Aroma has clove, belgian yeast, lemon grass, and deeply hidden alcohol.

Taste is complex with it starting slowly and picking up. The middle comes the belgian yeast and a big hit of clove and spices. Some fruitness but I don't know if I would call it dark fruits.

Medium carbonation with a light body yet some viscous feel.

A good beer that might be on the spicey side for me. I would have this again and I wonder if the age did it some goodness. Enjoy!

  • Quicky: Wow, spicey. Mysterious, coriander, and yeast scent. Not crazy sweet, and interesting mix of flavors, some fruits, a little lemony, definately earthy. Not a bad little beer. The thick coriander aroma would probably stop me from drinking a ton. In the end, respectable but not great.
