Pours clear with a cap of white, frothy foam to cover that is about two inches thick. Retention is nice with thickening of the remaining foam.
Aroma is very earthy and resinous. Based on other reviews I have seen, this is nowhere near where this beer should be. Old bottle?
Taste has some sweetness but a lot of wheat. Light. There is a touch of hop bitterness with a bit of honey in the finish.
Medium body and carbonation accent the beer well.
Crisp and refreshing, in spite of the fact that I have an old beer. I will have to get my hands on another bottle to get the true understanding and profile of the hops in this beer. I will update my review if and when that happens. Enjoy!
"Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, 'It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than selfish and worry about my liver.'" - Jack Handy
