Pours clear with ample, white, meringue, stiff foam on top. Retention is well above average while lacing was sticky and dry up front.
Aroma is rather light. A touch of tart, sweet, juicy fruits, and spice. I like the aroma, just would like a bit more of it.
Taste follows the nose to a 't.' Light flavors of juicy fruits, slight funk, spice, and sweet.
Light body with a medium amount of carbonation that tingles the lips and stays on the back of the tongue.
A solid beer all around but would have liked a bit more aroma, which would help the taste pop more also. Otherwise it is crisp and refreshing with just enough tart to know about it. Enjoy!

Beer Notes
Fermented with wild yeasts and aged in wine barrels with orange peel, Sofie is a tart, dry, sparkling ale. A subtle, spicy white pepper note, a hint of citrus from the orange peel and a creamy vanilla finish make Sofie an intriguing choice for Champagne drinkers and beer drinkers who are fond of Belgian Saisons.
"Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza." - Dave Barry
