Pours a clear amber color with an inch of off white frothy head that settles into a thin tightly formed layer of foam resting on top. Thick watery lacing sheets down the sides of the glass.
The aroma is sweet with floral hops and caramel malts. A sweetness almost like honey that is very pleasing.
The taste is sweet up front and works into a floral hop. Finishing with an herbal tea like flavor. Green tea with honey is what comes to mind as this flavor lingers on the palate. A slight bitterness that is also sweet on the finish.
Light body with light to medium carbonation. Nothing stands out on the mouthfeel for me. Smooth yet watery and very drinkable.
This is a very tasty brew! Very well balanced between the sweet malts and the floral and herbal hops. Some really unusual flavors that I have never tasted in a beer and makes this beer really stand out in a good way! Very drinkable and fun! Try one!
A vigorous pour brings about a huge, light tan foam, that recedes from the bottom up. Lacing is thick but spotty. Beer is clear to the eye.
Aroma is floral hops up front. Herbal and maybe a touch of spice hops are there too. Sweet caramel malts round out the aroma.
Taste is sweet up front, followed by floral hops, a similar tea flavor, and some herbal, spice hops. Bitter in the finish but minimally. Herbal seems to stay with the palate a bit.
Light body with just a tad more carbonation, making the beer feel weak in this category.
Pleasantly surprised by this beer in terms of being different within the style. One of a few amber ales that I wouldn't mind partaking again in the future as I am usually not a big fan of this style (dumping ground). Enjoy!

Boont Amber Ale is a medium bodied pale ale with a beautiful copper color, a robust head, and the rich flavor of caramel malt. This very smooth and exceptionally drinkable beer is excellent with steaks, chicken, pasta, and other flavorful meals.
