Hoppy Face Amber Ale

Pours clear with a half glass of thick, white foam. Retention is quite good with lacing that is thick and sticky. Aroma is grass and wood from the hops. There is a sweet caramel/toffee backbone. Taste follows with a huge amount of grass and wood coming on strong. A woody, grassy element comes on the in the finish, strong and strange. Light body with a light carbonation. This combination of hops isn't something that appeases me. There isn't much else to say. Enjoy!

Pours a dark gold with a nice light fluffy style head. Spotty lacing. Aroma is grass and wood hops. Maybe a bit of an earthy hop as well. Taste is very simple. I am getting an earthy grass hop. Light body with light carbonation. Overall a little bit too simple for me. Has a hop profile that I don't have often, but seems to have a lack of complexity or interest.
