A: Bright red-orange with a haze, reminds me of a West Coast style IPA. Off white, medium thick head.
S: Big Citrus right off the bat, mostly orange & tangerine. A faint funk in the background.
T: Light touch overall. It's got an upfront personality. And there's was a disagreement bewteen my our tasting group of whether or not this beer is truly sessionable. I initially detected low notes of citrus. It's does strike the uninitiated as bitter, but to me hop profile just has personality (spice, funk, and tropical fruits).
O: Can tell this is the son of Jolly P., it's a very unique IPA. Low abv makes this a consideration for a multiple thirst quencher. Had this a tad old, dated 4/3 and drank on 7/28.
Pours cloudy with about a half inch of off white foam. Retention is fleeting while leaving lacing that is thin but sticky.
Aroma is hop forward: mango, citrus, and tropical fruits hit hard. A touch of musty/earthy Sweet caramel malts are the back bone.
Taste is sweet up front, quickly transitioning to bitter, earthy, musty, spice, and citrus. The hop is bitter, lasting for a while.
Light body that is aided by a spritzy carbonation that feels like big bubbles in the mouth. Dries the palate.
Hard to be a session beer that has so much hop, unbalanced bitterness in the finish. A much different hop profile than I am used to in a hoppy beer: the combination us citrus, grapefruit yet musty and earthy. Enjoy!
Pours a cloudy deep golden color with a health creamy white head. Low retention on the head as it dissipates quickly leaving a thin swirl of foam on top. Lacing sheets.
Aroma is big. Lots of big citrus and pine hops with a mildly musky aroma.
Taste is mild compared to the aroma. I am getting citrus hops and a bit of pine on the backend. Lemon type flavors are the bigger flavor on this beer. Has a bit of spice on the backend. Finishes bitter and dry.
Unusually light body with a champagne type carbonation. Watery mouth feel. Flavor stays on the palate long after drinking it.
Overall a good beer. Very light, would make a great hot day beer. Flavors are not a bold as the aroma, but I find this a positive on this beer. Try one!

North Peak Wanderer is a Session IPA. This exciting new style is balanced with malt and hop characters and has a clean finish. The combination of full hop flavor and lower alcohol gives Wanderer a a wonderful drinkability! Wanderer has a light, clean and refreshing body, and is hopped with Perle, Willamette, Centennial and Citra hops that gives Wanderer a Citrus and Pine finish. Wanderer is rounded out with a generous amount of dry-hopping with Citra hops to fill the nose.
