  • Poured cloudy with a load of foam. It took me five minutes to fit the contents of this bottle into my pint glass. The white head is thick with tons of tightly packed bubbles like sardines. All this foam had great retention. Some lacing.

On first aroma I get sweet fruitiness. Going back for more I find dried apricots, mild peppery phenol, and a bit of alcohol here and there. Complex but not huge.

My best description of how this beer tastes: Yummy. The sweet fruitiness is up front. I can taste the apricots, slight peach - good stuff. The middle has the same slight peppery spice from the aroma. Lots of carbonation mix with the sourness to give a smooth, bubbly, and refreshing finish but with a little sour there also. Some dryness late in the end. A really nice blend of flavors and sensations.

Really good beer. New Glarus is becoming a favorite of mine. I have had at least eight flavors (have about six or more to still taste) and can say I have not be disappointed and, in some cases, nicely surprised. Enjoy!
