Pours as clear as a beautiful summer day. A couple of fingers of white, somewhat thick foam. Okay retention with some lacing throughout. The foam settles, eventually, to a thin covering on the top of the beer.
Aroma is similar to their Wild Rice beer but with wheat on the nose instead of big rice. There is some malt and very light citrus.
The taste follows. Malt up front, followed by some citrus, while finishing with wheat.
Medium carbonation and light mouth feel mesh together well to make a very drinkable pale ale.
Crisp and refreshing, this easy drinker is sessionable. A great beer to introduce someone over to American craft beer as it isn't overpowering, nice aroma, and good flavor could win them over and gradually work them into better and bolder beers. A better than average beer that cuts through the sweat. Enjoy!
