A: Very clear pale gold. Off white foam head, thickish meringue like. Head was medium height and retention.
S: Piney, grassy, and floral. First guess is Mosaic hops. Not a thing wrong, just very subtle aroma.
T:The taste starts as muted pine and grassines, but then a blast of grapefruit. Appropriate mouth-feel, not too thick or thin. Good balance of malt sweetness by the hop bitterness.
O: I like this brew, totally unfamiliar with this brewery. This DIPA is solid, and if the breweries tap room was close to me, I would definitely drink this on a regular basis. But, to put a critical slant to this review, it's an older school West Coast IPA and newer EC IPA's have more tropical flavors and grit to them. If you like WC style DIPA's, you'll like this brew.

Beer Notes
American double IPA is made with loads of dank, resinous American hops to create a bold mix of cirtrus, floral, and tropical notes – an electrifying concoction for all you hop heads.
