Pour opaque/murky purple with a huge amount of light purple foam. Retention is fantastic, leaving sporadic, sticky purple lacing in it's wake.

Aroma is a brash hit of blueberry, immediately and overwhelming. Lactose and vanilla dance with the blueberries to give a blueberry pie/yogurt scent. The hops are there but indistinguishable on their own, they add an odd scent that doesn't due justice to the beer.

The taste follows the nose: big of blueberry with friends in lactose and vanilla. Once again the hop profile is indistinguishable and a difficult sensory perception. Finishes oddly but with blueberries.

Medium body, maybe thicker but, oddly, finishes thin. Medium carbonation. Dries the palate even with all the fruit.

No offense, but this is an awful beer! Mix in the price point and the beer is extremely worse. This reminds me of grape soda that I used to drink by the gallon back in the day but cannot stand as an adult. Trying to finish a four pack of this beer was difficult. Do I get a gold star? Enjoy!

Beer Notes
  • We took our Chantilly base and added over a ton of blueberries - seriously, we added over 2,500 pounds of blueberries! Along with all the blueberries we added the usual vanilla, lactose, and Mosaic hops.
