Poured from a can without a date. Can purchased on 3/28 from Iron & Glass (Minooka) which received on 3/26.
Pours cloudy but not opaque; light almost passes through. Vigorous pour brings about a half glass of white, billowy foam. The top froths as it recedes like an glacier. Sticky, web-like lacing is immediate.
Aroma is what you would expect from a beer with Citra and Amarillo but with a good aroma balance between the two. Tropical, pine with a dank twist. Pine is up front more than tropical. Tropical is mango and pineapple.
Taste has cracker sweetness. Mango, pineapple, and pine. The pine isn't as pronounced as the aroma, making for a juicier finish. No perceived bitterness. Easy on the palate.
Mouthfeel is a thin with light carbonation. No really dry but not juicy either.
Are they trying to create a new style of IPA? It is a cross between IPA, DIPA and NEIPA but none stands out well. In spite of the double dry hop, the hop profile isn't huge. I would have this again, occasionally. Enjoy!
