Pours clear with an inch of white, frothy foam. Good retention and sticky, thick lacing. Since I can see the beer effervescent.
Aroma of green; grass to be precise. Up front and overpowering to begin. Thankfully this gives way to ripe fruit, earth and biscuit and honey from the malt. No pine.
Taste is biscuit backbone that has grass, fruit, and honey.
Light body and medium carbonation. Dry, yet juicy. Definitely the old fashioned bitterness associated with the style: bold and brash.
Been a long time to bring back an old friend. I don't like the grass in the profile. Spot on otherwise with the bitter, dry long finish. A bit single dimensional, would have like a bit more hop profile. Enjoy!
