Color:Red/Pink
Poured from a can fated 5/27/20. Purchased at Iron & Glass Minooka.
Pours cloudy with a couple of finger of reddish/pink tinted foam. Retention is okay with a inconsistent but thick foam.
Aroma is huge on the sweet lactose. It jumps out of the glass at you. Rich cream. Behind the sweet is tart cherry and an occasional bone of citrus.
Taste is rich, sweet and creamy lactose. Cherry and citrus play on the outside, looking in. They only hint at their own existence. The citrus, cherry and lactose plat better here than on the nose.
Medium to heavy body as it is creamy. Medium carbonation that bites the front of the tongue.
The nose is all lactose and I don’t appreciate it. I have remember that milkshake ipas are not my thing. I don’t want to this beer or the style again. Enjoy!
