  • Purchased at Flight Bottle Shoppe. Date on can: 07/26/20.

Pours hazy with a huge white foam. The foam becomes rocky as it recedes, leaving wispy, very sporadic, lacing.

Aroma is very resinous. Once you cut through that: grapefruit, mango, and hints of spice and sweetness.

Taste of orange, mango, and papaya. Lot's of fruit. Late spice and earth that leaves some bitterness.

Light body and light carbonation. The adjective "light" could be used all around here. Juicy.

The aroma and flavor are nice as both have tropical fruit mixed with spice. The body of the beer is really lacking. It is like drinking water with hops. Beef up the carbonation a bit to make this beer sit taller in the saddle. Enjoy!

Beer Notes
  • A Rye New England style IPA. The rye is just assertive enough to lend a subtle spiciness under the waves of candy fruit hop flavor provided by the massive additions of El Dorado, Simcoe, and Mosaic. Lactose sugar adds a bit of sweetness and further body to the beer.
