  • Received as a gift from Sheri and Mike. Thank you!

Day 1 of 24 beers of Christmas 2021.

Pours cloudy with barely enough pure white foam the covers, even on a vigorous pour. The foam doesn't stand a chance based on the meager beginnings. No lacing.

Aroma is NEIPA forward hops: apricot and mango jump out. Hints of orange sweetness, possibly even floral.

Taste falls flat. The apricot and mange are muted, being kind. It is one of the strangest tastes I have had in a beer that has such a solid aroma. Bit lost for descriptive words.

Light body with all the honey thinning out the beer. Carbonation bite that I perceive as bitterness and alcohol.

The main redeeming quality of this beer is the aroma, the other sense are left wanting. The honey really dries but I don't get much aroma/flavor from the specialty honeys (yes, I know honey is 100% fermentable). I would not have this beer again. Enjoy!
