    Day 2 of 24 beers of Christmas 2021.

    Pours opaque as it is dark as night. Huge beautiful and bold mocha foam becomes rocky as it recedes. Great retention with thick, sporadic lacing.

    Aroma of vanilla, chocolate, cream, malt, with caramel, possibly toffee. Pleasant aroma without roastiness. Varying wafts remind me of a brewery on brew day of straight up malt.

    Taste doesn't bring the same vanilla flavor that is expected from the nose. Creamy, caramel/toffee and chocolate. Yet, there is some vanilla and hints of brown sugar develop.

    Medium body with about the same carbonation. Dry finish.

    The beers pours beautifully and has a great aroma. The taste is good but doesn't bring the same vanilla that was present in the nose, which makes the beer so enticing. I would have this beer again. Enjoy!
