  • Received as a gift from Sheri and Mike. Thank you!

Day 3 of 24 beers of Christmas 2021.

Pours clear from the can but the amount of liquid in the glass makes it opaque. Brown with mahogany highlights. Bit of light tan head quickly fade. Void of lacing.

Aroma is sweet with tons of spice comingling, creating a mucky mess that is difficult to distinguish individual characteristics. Some dark fruits: maybe plum and cherry. No Belgian yeast.

Taste: Ugh! What a mess. Just a mess. I don't want to describe what flavors my mouth is experiencing. Cinnamon and molasses squat deep in the mouth, lingering, foully.

High end of medium moth. Big carbonation. Spice dry.

I do not like spices in a beer. This one takes spices up to 11; realistically higher. Not for me. Enjoy!

Beer Notes
  • This quad is brewed with love, molasses, and spices to provide the essence of gingerbread. This beer tastes warm, with notes of dark cherry, plum, raisins, and prune, with just the right amount of spice. 'Tis the season. Enjoy
