  • Received as a gift from Sheri and Mike. Thank you!

Day 15 of 24 beers of Christmas 2021.

Pours clear but as it fills the glass becomes opaque due to the color. Light tan foam covers deeply; almost half a glass. Good retention but no lacing. Slight covering throughout the drink.

Aroma is oddly good for what was initially expected. No dark malts, just fruity yeast, with lemon and lime. Clean.

Taste is once again fruity with with hints of lemon and lime. No real maltiness to the taste.

Heavy end of light body, maybe seeps into the medium body. Lots of carbonation. Dry.

I didn't know what to expect from the can but I really like this beer. The darkness of the beer doesn't over take the delicateness of the botanicals. Light enough to be refreshing and inviting. Simply complex. I would have this again. Enjoy!

Beer Notes
  • Light bodied, dark in color, bold in flavor and featuring cardamom, juniper, coriander, and light note of fig. Beautiful and seasonally essential.
