Pours opaque with a huge white covering foam. Great retention with the foam thickening, almost becoming creamy. Thick lacing.
Aroma bursts out of the pint can on initial opening, barely containing itself. Passion fruit leaps out. The is the first time I have ever smelled freshly cut passion fruit in a beer. Unfortunately, that distinctive and yummy aroma is fleeting. It calms down to orange, pineapple and hints of mango. Some resin.
Taste doesn't carry the aroma. As mentioned, the passion fruit wains but the orange and pineapple lead the pack. Sweetness on the backend along with a mild bitterness. The finish also pulls is in a dankness that doesn't linger.
Medium body with the same carbonation (it seems about perfect on the beer). Somewhat juicy but dries.
The upfront passion fruit aroma is amazing. Mosaic comes through and really shows how it can elevate an India Pale Ale. I would have this again and again. Well done. Enjoy!
