Poured clear with a couple of fingers of off-white, frothy (nice for the style) foam. It still didn't hang out long but was pretty before it vanished.
Toasty malt with a huge amount of sweetness (like a sugar bomb). Caramel aromas, almost caramelized sugar to be exact. Really too much sweet and not the greatest for the style.
Taste has sweetness in some capacity throughout. The middle brings about toasty and grain malt. The finish has a slight bite with more sweet caramelization coming through. I would have to say a caramelized sugar bomb of a beer.
Mouth is a high end of light but seems to have a touch of water. Medium carbonation.
I like Tyranena beers but this one, to me, is so far off style and the path they take isn't all that appealing. The end of the taste has a funk too that I can't quite put my finger on. If you like caramlized sugar than go try some. Enjoy!
