Purchased at Iron & Glass Minooka on 2026-05-19. Date on can of 20226-08-03. Poured into my Pliny the Elder glass.
Pours clear with a partial chill haze. Pale gold. Nice helping of white foam covers. Tightly packed bubbles slowly ebb there way back to the surface, becoming a bit rocky and creamy as it does so. Good thick lacing throughout.
Aroma is Citra and Mosaic forward. Mango and papaya. Hints of earth, herbal, grapefruit and pineapple. The pineapple could be more just straight pine too. Wish the earth and herbal notes were more subdued but the tropical and fruits are dominate. Subtlety sweet.
Taste of sweet mango and papaya up front. Juicy. There is a lingering mango, grapefruit and pine finish. The pine and grapefruit really take over with grapefruit winning and lingering.
Medium body. Dries the palate.
As mentioned earlier, I have one complaint: the herbal and earth that show up in the aroma. Take that away and you have a rockstar. Pleasant, lingering bitterness that is juicy, fruity and not overbearing. I would have this again. Enjoy!1
