Front Porch Frequency

Purchased at Iron & Glass Minooka. No date on can. Pours almost completely clear - slight chill haze. Really good for a wheat beer. Minimal white foam that completely disappears. No lacing. Aroma isn't huge but quick to notice that smell of Citra hops: lemon citrus, mango and some light tropical fruits. The brightness of the aroma wears quickly as those volatile aromas leave the glass, leaving the wheat base of this beer. No doubt it is a wheat beer. Taste doesn't fall far from the aroma tree: lemon, grapefruit with hints of mango and heap of wheat. Some toast in the finish; nice compliment. Dry finish with minor bitterness that leaves the palate quickly and almost clean. Light body and almost no carbonation allowing the beer to feel even lighter. Clean. Crist. A bit dry in the finish. Early September and over 90 with humidity, this beer is a perfect fit and because of its diminutive size, is inviting for replays. The burning red and orange can with the rocking chair is a great setting for today's climate and what the beer is a perfect fit for. I would have this again. Enjoy!
