Poured into my Pliny 20oz glass. Purchased at Iron & Glass Minooka on 10-23-2026. Date on can of 10-19-2026, approximately 7 days in the can.
Pours cloudy and the same color as almost all of there hazy IPAs. A huge, beautiful, white foam covers. Great retention - even froths and gets rocky as it creeps back, never fully leaving. Lacing is thick, sticky and throughout.
Aroma is a cornucopia of fruit: lemon, lime, mango, passionfruit, and peach. There is slight sweetness and even some dank undertones develop as it warms and settles.
Taste is more mango and peach with hints of passionfruit. I think the middle to the finish become more peach. The end brings on some lemon/lime bitterness that lingers some.
Medium to thick body. Lighter carbonation but the body is still there. Juicy up front before giving way, late, to a lingering bitterness, which almost bites like a west coast IPA.
Hop Butcher continues to push the hop volume to 11. I appreciate the effort but this one isn't a homerun for me. I am not a huge fan of peach and this is overwhelmingly peach, especially at this point in time of the age of the beer. Maybe in a week it will be different. I wouldn't have this again but nothing wrong, just not hitting it for me. Enjoy!
