Poured clear with two fingers of white foam. Retention is outstanding for style, while the foam diminished it became a little bit frothy.
Aroma is grain malt and some grassy hops. Not a huge amount of malt like I expected from an Oktoberfest beer.
Taste continues from the nose: some malt and hops but not enough to make a "bigger" fest beer. Slight bitterness in the end.
Carbonation and mouth feel are both on the light side. Maybe even a little bit watery.
I really enjoy Central Waters' beers but this one just comes up short as it isn't "big" enough. Sorry for all the quoted words in this review, lol. An easy drinking beer though, could session. Enjoy!
