  • Poured into a pint glass on tap having a little bit of brown foam that had no retention or lacing.

    Aroma was light but it was complex. Coffee, chocolate, roasted malt, caramel, and even a little bit of oatmeal/bread.

    Taste was almost the same as the aroma and like it, slight. Sweetness from caramel malt mixed with roasted, coffee, and chocolate flavors. Finishes with a bit of chocolate and creamy.

    Almost no carbonation (believe this was a nitro pour). Body was medium if it was lucky as it seemed watery.

    Has all the makings of a good stout but just doesn't come up big enough. I don't know if it has to do with the nitrous pour but the aroma and taste were dead on but needed to be multiplied by five or more. The water taste was a put off. You could season this stout because it is so light. I would have it again if I couldn't find something better. Enjoy!
