Poured with less than a quarter inch of brown, bubbly foam. Retention was minimal. Hit or miss blotchy lacing.
Aroma is molasses, sweet, and roasted to begin. Alcohol is present along with some cocoa.
Taste is molasses and sweet but as it transfers to the end, ugh! I don't know what it is, but maybe a mixture of the cocoa, roasted, and oatmeal. Not pleasant. I can't even describe the finish.
Medium carbonation and body.
There is something that is definitely wrong with this beer. I can't describe it and I couldn't finish it. I can't believe it came from Short's. Enjoy!

Aroma: Sweet malty molasses with a little smokey cocoa.
1st Taste: Ugh, grassy.
Overall: Error in this beer. Not drinkable...something is wrong. Stopped review in respect to Short's.
