Poured slightly cloudy into my pint glass. A nice, deep tan, thick foam that was about an inch in height came out of the bottle. Retention was good with a more than usual amount of foam left behind. Thick, sheeting lacing throughout.
Aroma has a base in bready malt with a big pine hop presence. No real heat on the nose.
Taste is sweet up front followed by thick bread malt, alcohol burn as it goes down, and a big bitterness that mixes with the alcohol in the finish, staying behind in the after taste.
Thick, heavy body with a medium carbonation. Drying.
Alcohol is big in the finish and I think a little too much. The other flavors and aromas are really good. I don't think I would have a bomber of this by myself as the large flavor should be stopped at one. Enjoy!
