- Quicky: Enticing brown sugar, banana, and clove aroma. Drinkable, the aroma flavors blend well into the taste. A little sweet, good carbonation, alcohol really hidden. And, I'm drinking it a year after it was made, so cutting some slack. Good beer.

Poured slightly cloudy with an off-white, fluffy foam. Retention was limited as was the lacing.
Aroma is big on the malts: caramel and toffee. Banana, clove, and brown sugar add to the complex nature of the nose.
Taste isn't quite as nice as the smell. Seems like some oxidation might have seeped in. Sweetness from the malt is there as are the spices and banana.
Light carbonation with a medium body. Carbonation still adds enough zing.
Not as well cellared as the #8 but still a fine example. The aroma was the highlight with its' subtle complexities. Enjoy! - 571 characters
