Poured clear and the vigorous pour brought about several inches of tan foam that was tightly packed. As per the style the retention wasn't great. Some spotted lacing.
Aroma is built of sweet, toffee malt that has a slight sour (maybe apple) fruit scent. Small nose overall.
Taste is built on the malt. Somewhat sweet with a finish of clean hops with a tad of bitterness. There is a sour at the end.
Mouth is maybe medium being nice while the carbonation is about the same. Good for the beer.
About the what I expect from an average beer of the style. Nothing stands out head and shoulders among the competition, giving off a ho-hum feeling. Easy drinking. Enjoy!
