Pours slightly cloudy due to some floaties with a half glass of tight, white foam. Retention is outstanding. Foam becomes like meringue leaving a thick, sticky lacing behind.
Aroma is fresh with fruity hops, maybe mango (Amarillo hops?). Probably my personal favorite hop aroma. There is a touch of sweet malt but the fruitiness is really the focus of the beer.
Taste has a little something in the middle that is hard for me to explain, possibly from the rice. Bread malt profile besides with some sweetness. Hops are awesome: citrus, pineapple, and some fruits. Really jumps in your face without leaving a bitterness that is ridiculous. Rather than a lot of bitterness, more of a lingering hop flavor.
Body isn't as mild as expected while the carbonation is up there a couple of notches.
I really like the hop profile of this beer but the middle "rice" flavor isn't all that great. In spite of this I gobble this beer up. Really nice and slightly different. Artistry at a high level. Enjoy!
