  • Pours a nice amber color with a half inch white thick frothy head. Great retention on the head.

The aroma is nice. Sweet malts, caramel, and bready notes blend together to make a very pleasant aroma.

The taste start with sweet malts with caramel and works into a light floral hop flavor with a toasted bready malt finish.

Light body with medium carbonation. Very drinkable.

Overall, a very nice beer. Maintains a true to style nature, but is rich and full flavored with a nice balance between the sweet malts and the hops. A very good Octoberfest beer! Try one!

  • Pours clear, of course, with a virgin white, tightly packed, three inch foam. Frothy she becomes as the foam dissipates. Lacing is minor as it quickly retreats back to the glass.

Aroma is caramel, toasty, bread/cereal malt; leaning toward the toasted bread. Light, stereotypical hop profile. Solid on the nose.

Taste is sweet as most in the style are. Caramel is balanced by a floral hop presence, creating a crisp beer. The toast and bread come quickly after the finish and last throughout.

Light body with a medium or better carbonation. Crisp and refreshing on the mouth.

A solid offering all the way around and one of the better Octoberfest beers I have had over the past year (and I had a lot last year). The sweetness is balanced without being cloying and the crispness of the beer allows for multiple to be had in one sitting. Enjoy!
