  • Pours a cloudy straw color with thin white head that settles quickly into swirl of creamy white floating on top. Spotty lacing.

Aroma is crisp and clean. I am getting wheat, yeast, and a light fruit that reminds me of banana and clove. Aroma is slightly sweet and and creamy.

Taste is creamy and smooth. Follows the aroma, with a nice balance between wheat, yeast, and light banana flavors. Very refreshing.

Medium body with medium carbonation. Creamy and smooth mouth feel.

Overall an awesome beer. Refreshing and clean with perfectly balanced flavors. This beer is a very easy drinker and would be prefect on a hot summer day. This one is a must try!

  • Pleasant clean aroma. Great color. Crisp.
More clove than banana and that's a good thing. American brewers fail to control fermentation and then end up with banana elements- which are fine. But a clean, crisp, even right through the middle- that's a great hefe- and that what this is.

  • Pours hazy with an inch of white foam that doesn't hang around for long. Lacing is thin, wispy but somewhat sticky.

Aroma is subtle but complex and fulfilling. Banana is predominant while clove, wheat, and yeast all bide for shotgun.

Taste is very similar. Banana is the focus. Clove comes in the middle, not leaving, with wheat and yeast adding accents through to the finish.

Light body with medium carbonation that builds but never gets too big.

Possibly one of the best Hefes I have had. So smooth, easy drinking, and out of this world for the style here in the states. Well done. Enjoy!

Beer Notes
  • Modeled after the classic wheat beers of Bavaria, our HefeWeizen has a cloudy, straw-colored appearance with a thick, creamy head. It is fermented with an authentic Weizenbier yeast strain which imparts delicate notes of clove, vanilla and banana which harmonize perfectly with its mild refreshing tartness. Together these flavors create the perfect thirst quencher to beat the Texas heat.
