Pours a deep amber brown, almost black, with a one inch creamy head. Head dissipates quickly, leaving a milky swirl on the surface. Aroma is rich in coffee, chocolate, and malt, with a sweetness to it. Taste is similar to the aroma with a burnt chocolate and coffee flavor finishing in a malty sweetness. Mouth feel was smooth and milky. Overall I enjoyed this beer. I tend to be a big fan of stouts and I felt like this was a enjoyable tasty brew.

Poured clear with a single finger of tan foam that lasted seconds before completely disappearing. Minor lacing. Lots of roasted malt on the nose. Some chocolate, mild coffee, and a hint of earthiness (hops). Roasted malt up front, the middle follows with some chocolate and small coffee, finishes with more chocolate and nice creaminess. Creamy and medium carbonation. Good mouth feel. A touch on the thin side. Not an amazing stout, just a quality stout. Might be a little too much carbonation for me but still a good drinker. If you enjoy stouts and aren't looking just for huge stouts, this would be a good try. Also, if you are just getting into stouts, this might help you get rolling as it isn't an over the top stout. Enjoy!
