From a can picked up at the October release.
Pours opaque with a beautiful mocha foam to cover that is creamy and rich. Good retention, leaving thick traces in its' wake.
Aroma of sugar, marshmallow sweetness, almost cake like. Sweet chocolate and graham cracker layer in for depth. A creamy sense even on the nose. Vanilla comes through as it warms, adding to the sweetness aroma.
Taste is sweet that carries throughout. There is marshmallow creaminess that brings that sweetness, accented and strengthened by late, but lingering, vanilla. Graham cracker segways in-between.
Big, creamy body. Minimal carbonation but needed. Surprisingly dry with only hints of "stay on lips stickiness".
Taste is too sweet for me. In spite of following the nose, the sweet flavors are too much (the whole style is this way). Contrary to this, the dryness of the finish fights back and ebbs the luscious, sweet creaminess. A solid beer but is one of the better examples of the style I have had. Definitely worth your taste. Enjoy!
