Purchased only a couple of days earlier from Iron & Glass in Romeoville.
Pours opaque but brightens somewhat when light hits the sides. Minimal white carbonation covers, retreating rather quickly but there wasn't much to begin. A thick mat of foam covers the liquid top throughout. Lacing is strong.
Aroma is big on the fruits. Pineapple, mango and citrus. Dank and resin mix, coming late. Sweet orange and grapefruit.
Taste brings big, ripe fruits. Orange, mango, pineapple and grapefruit. Sweet. Possibly subtle hints of alcohol late but only occasionally.
Medium body (possibly thicker). Carbonation is medium as well. Somewhat dry for all the juicy flavors.
Fastest I have put down a 4-pack in quite sometime. I actually called the beer store 3 days later to get more but it was already gone (both locations). Possibly the best NEIPA that I have had lately. Solid. Great balance and smoothness for the ABV. Enjoy!
"Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, 'It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than selfish and worry about my liver.'" - Jack Handy
