Purchased at Flight Bottle Shoppe. Date on can: 07/07/20.
Pours cloudy with minimal slightly off-white head. Retention is not there but leaves a small amount on the liquid. Lacing is sporadically thick and clingy. The color is hard to explain as it is gold at the base but there are red highlights. Shining a light straight down on the beer reminds me of red grapefruit color but it isn't that distinct unless directly under a brilliant light.
The aroma is crazy fantastic! Pineapple, strawberry, banana, and coconut are tremendous in the beer. The aromas come across as authentic, jumping out of the open prior to the pour, intensifying afterwards. It is pina colada meets banana cream, splashed with strawberry. The juices hide the hop profile.
Taste follows the nose but the intensity tails but only slightly. Pineapple, strawberry, banana and coconut all play so well together. The pina colada, banana cream and strawberry mingle as if old friends. No bitterness. Lingering sense is that of a lazy day on the beach of multiple tropical drinks.
Medium body, possibly more. Medium carbonation. Juicy up front by dries after a few moments. The vanilla was absent on the nose and mouth.
Uncannily, well balanced on the nose and mouth. One of most insanely imaginative aromatic beers that I can remember. I don't like juice in my beer but this is so well done. I was hesitant when purchasing, now I am wishing that I would have purchased at least four. I highly recommend this to anyone. Enjoy!
