Received as a gift from Sheri and Mike. Thank you!
Day 8 of 24 beers of Christmas 2021.
Pours cloudy with a huge white foam. Stellar retention with huge amounts of sticky, ringed lacing from the onset. Love a lot of head, on a beer, and this one doesn't disappoint.
Aroma is sweet, mango, and orange citrus. There is a dankness that develops as it warms.
Taste is well balanced of mango, orange, and sweetness. There are minimal hints of bitterness in the finish but the orange pleasantly lingers.
Medium body, almost creamy, up front, but as the beer finishes it becomes thin, almost watery. Light carbonation. Maybe more carbonation would bring up the body of the tail end.
Handsome in the glass with solid aroma and taste. The body is the only oddity to this beer as it thins to much in the finish. But that is being nit-picky. Wouldn't hesitate to have another. Enjoy!
