Poured from a can with a best by date of 2016-12-09.
Pours with a slight chill haze. An inch of off-white to tan foam, which is small bubbled and tightly packed. Retention is above average. Lacing begins immediately as it recedes. Solid looking beer.
Aroma is straight orange, tangerine and just about any derivative of an orange. Light cereal grains. Grassy, almost herbal as it warms.
Taste is sweet, toasty up front with grass. The middle adds the orange and tangerine hop notes. These carry to the finish, leaving a grass and orange on the tongue.
Light end of medium body, possibly even smaller. Good carbonation for the beer. Dries minimally. Smooth bitterness that doesn't linger.
A nice offering that is quite easy to drink. There are two things that would do this beer justice: up the hop profile and either drop the ABV or up the carbonation; make the beer even more drinkable or make it live up to the initial ABV with more body. Enjoy!
